Do any of you have a personal connection to any of the ships/shipgirls irl? I have a personal connection to the USS Shangri-la CV-38 through my great-grandfather (rip) who served aboard her during WW2.

Hello all, I could use some help with design for a characters hair. I'm trying to make the USS Arizona from Azur Lane, and I've got her clothes and rigging designed how I want it, but I'm struggling with her hair. Anyone got any suggestions on what front/rear hair I should use?

On this day in history, April 18th, 1942, the USS Hornet would make naval history, being the first aircraft carrier to have B-25 Mitchell bombers fly off of her deck to strike the Japanese mainland.

On this day, April 16th 1945, the USS Laffey DD-724 would go toe to toe with 50 japanese warplanes. The USS Laffey would hold her own against her foe and come out the victor, but not without damage. She was hit by 6 kamikaze planes and sustained 4 bomb hits, and she would sadly lose 32 men.

This picture of the 1999 Moore Ok tornado has always given me the creeps for some reason and I can't tell you why.

Happy launch day to the HMS Edinburgh! While she didn't have a long and glorious career like her sister, her service still deserves to be remembered. She was the protector of convoys and a fighting lady until the very end.
